Full Disclosure

Full Disclosure:

- This blog is not intended to garner me fame or fortune. I created it for use in my EdTech 537 class which focuses on creating blogs for use in a classroom. I may or may not continue this blog after the class ends...
 - This blog contains my own thoughts and ideas with credit given if I borrow ideas from others. My opinions are not those of my employer and they are mine alone.

What I do:

I am currently employed by Coeur d'Alene School Districty #271 as a teacher.
I also run a small volume consignment company called Auction Solutions and sell via a number of sources online.
I am also raising two wonderful children.

On the Media:

I do not write or broadcast for anyone but myself, though I am a great consumer of information and tend to gather data and information on anything I find myself interested in.

Losing My Religion:

I grew up in The Salvation Army with parents who are pastors. Their religious denomination tends to resemble the Methodist Christian view more than anything else. I spent a lot of time in church as a youth and became disenchanted with the label of Christian (Christ-like) that many people tend to assume despite neither acting or really believing in that particular higher power. As I've grown older, I'm less inclined to believe in the higher power and have a firm belief in science as the greater power in the universe.

Political Disbelief:

I am a fairly liberal person, but I tend to vote on a candidate by candidate and issue by issue basis. Being an educated voter is a responsibility that I take seriously for my sake, my children's sake, and my country's sake. Blindly voting the party line is something I will never do personally.
