Hi Ben, I agree with your point on social media contributing to the students' communication abilities and them being ready for their adulthood. I do think that using a blanket policy banning ALL social media brings more harm than good. It does, however, work in other direction - when everything is allowed and there is no control over the content.
ReplyDeleteVery true - I think the goal (like in many other aspects) is to teach students how to use it appropriately. They are still responsible for their choices but if they have a good foundation for the correct usage they are more likely to be productive with it.
